NEWS & EVENTS
LAUNCHING JUNE 7, 2021
In January, we're launching our first virtual book club for foster tweens and teens on Sunday, June 6, 2021! There is no cost to students -- just CLICK HERE to sign up. You'll get a book pack that includes the book we're reading, pencils and a spiral notebook, and a canvas bag. The group meets each week online to discuss the week's reading and share their thoughts. Our latest Facebook Group is especially for Foster or Adoptive Parents. All parents have challenges, and we will certainly talk about those, but foster and adoptive parents have unique challenges that they face every day. The group will meet once a week to discuss a specific topic, and we'll also be having some special guest speakers. We will pick the first two topics, and after that, we'll ask for ideas from the group so that topics are current and those you care about most. Find out more . . .
COMING SPRING 2022
Each year, we honor and acknowledge our Youth Achievement Scholars, including honors for College Graduation, Vocational Training completion, maintaining GPA levels, achievement in reading, and GED attainment. Our keynote speaker will share his/her inspiring story with our awardees and friends, followed by a "Meet and Greet" reception with our honorees. Find out more . . .
COMING SUMMER 2022
Join us for this annual FUNdraiser, where adults, youth, and children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Super Hero or Super Villain. We'll have lots of fun with a costume contest, games of skill and brawn, a buffet dinner, raffles, and much more! Check back in June for more details and to purchase tickets.
